Austin’s riot grrrl/egg punk masters CorMae flexed their and their support system’s creative muscles yet again with the brand-new music video for “Time Deleter.” It’s a throwback to 8-bit beat ’em ups (think the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, Bad Dudes, etc.) which was created by Sketchy Dumpster.
A quick search engine look into Sketchy Dumpster turns up multiple games themed after Snooper– a band that incorporates arcade cabinets and the goddamn Super Snooper into their audio-visual presentation.
CorMae’s video premiered today (Fri., Aug. 21) on YouTube. The sadly relatable tune about procrastination’s the opening track off June release Everything is SO GREAT! (Bonus points for the Kim Shattuck-esque scream at the end.)
